Updates on WIPs
Okay, when I wasn't being tormented with cleaning out my closet (goodness, I'd no idea I had THAT much junk - I'm talking papers that date back to my attempts to learn cursive writing in second grade *facepalm*), I was able to go through and get a good look at the various WIPs that I have going on.
1.
wildwest_lantis fic featuring Teyla Emmagan's introduction. This fic is probably the one I'm most satisfied with so far. I've written the first drafts of the prologue (extremely short but hey, progress is progress), as well as Parts One and Two. I'm planning to start Part Three this evening and work on it for a bit. Rodney!Muse is cooperating today! *squeaks* Must be all the Sparky fanfics I've been reading for his (and my) delight. :D

spygate fic featuring another epic mission for our secret agent heroes. Parts One and Two have been betaed by the awesome
melyanna, and Part Three's first draft has been completed. Unfortunately, Part Four has hit a small snag given that Rodney!Muse is being stubborn in regards to this fic. *headdesk*
3. The fic featuring Snakehead o' Caldwell and his nefarious plans against Sparky of Awesome. Um... heh. Still at the drawing board. Snakehead o Caldwell's a tough guy to fic for. How does one accurately portray an icky snake using poor Caldwell against his oh-so-secret crushes Lizzie and Shep? Did I just imply a Sparky/Caldwell OT3?! *slaps forehead* I still have some vague ideas for this fic, but nothing completely definite. Curse TPTB for not giving us more info on Snakehead o' Caldwell!
4. Anything else that Rodney!Muse often comes out of the blue and demands that I write. Yeah, this one's been happening quite a bit lately, mostly in regards to
wildwest_lantis. This AU is extremely addicting, like
miera_c said. Especially with all the wonderful Sparky goodiness my fellow AU writers have been submitting. I urge you all to go and see! Be warned however: this stuff is so awesome, you'll end up a puddle of Sparky goo. Seriously! :D *shameless plug for AU community*
