When visiting old haunts, don't be surprised by the lingering ghost.
I have been thinking a lot about John Franklin lately, and how very much of an impact he had on my life. I never got to say good bye before he passed away 3 years ago, and I still miss him.
I went to the Rose Garden today, in the hopes of closure, to say good bye, where I couldn't before.
But what I found, more than anything, was an flood of memories of events past and people that have left my life.
I walked around, taking in the different memories, and I realized, that what was more important than saying good bye, was all of the things I said and did since I said "Hello".
