Walking through
I am being called forward.
I have taken similar paths.
I now have a compass,
map and a flashlight.
But all the same... I fear the travel.
The blisters on my soul are not fully healed.
Each step, still slow... sometimes painful.
Still cold, longing for warmth
Too scared to walk towards the fire
in the fear of getting burned.
When and where there is complete safety... there will be no fear.
The faith will be clear...
Only time will heal... and the strength is near
The days become brighter, and the path, less daunting.
An new enticing path will be walked... but not now... it can wait.
The greatest things are worth waiting for... even if it took 30 years...
So I am the greatest thing, i waited for... and that's the most important beginning... and there will be no end, to that journey...just shining adventures....
