Grand Dad Stories
So these are random, and not so exciting, but to me.
A while back, I helped my Grand Father, "Smokey", replace parts of his fence.
He of course was particular about how it was to be done. His Father, a Mason, and master fence builder he said, taught him the ways of fencing at the coast.
We used special tools his father had made himself(welded together and such). You certainly are not going to find those in a store, nor with that kind of history.
I found it so interesting to learn about my great-grandfather, and use the tools that not only he used, but made himself, engineered / tailored to the job.
