ditching
read howls moving castle yesterday. the book was a better story than the movie but i understand why they changed it. it makes more movie sense.
altaire ditched classes today and we went to the castro and ate lunch and were very unnoticed. :)
but right before that on the bus this really cute guy Troy hit on both of us, at the same time. it was weird. people shouldn't hit on two people at the same time, especially when they're sisters. i gave him my rolling stones button and altaire gave him her phone # and we're going to have lunch next week.
we both said that we have boyfriends. altaire almost does so she wasn't really lying. and i've decided that after what happened on greyhound, i'm just going to tell all strangers that hit on me that i'm involved with someone else.
we went to amoeba and both spent too much money. but i got the statler bros, ralph stanley, the rolling stones, the who, the soundtrack to love actually and help. altaire got all the music done by the temptations, even previously unreleased songs. and other stuff too. i don't really remember. the new death cab for cutie album.
got a new cell phone. same number.
going to be in paso tonight and tomorrow. be in the pioneer day parade in my grandparent's model t.
the more i listen to bad pop/hip-hop/rap/country, the more i appreciate rock and good country and bluegrass and good ska and just good music in general. i haven't really been listening to bad music recently, but it still makes me appreciate the good stuff.
i feel so accompluished having climbed two volcanoes this past weekend. it was a lot of fun, even though it rained the second night. it was good. wet, but good.
