I've picked up drawing again.
It's been awhile [years] since I've done any sketches but I was pretty pleased with my last drawing. Lately I've been addicted to dark themed comic books, Spawn in particular. I even decided to go to the Wizard World Conference this past Saturday in Rosemont, just so I could try to obtain an autograph from Todd McFarlane. Unfortunately, special tickets to meet the man were sold out at 9:30am; I didn't even arrive till after 10. I never got my autograph but I had one hellava' good time at the conference. Met some really sweet artists, bought some awesome prints and even had two of them signed by the artists & colorists! I can't wait to frame and hang them up. Oh, and I even bought some new comics, something I haven't done in over 7 years. It's amazing how many new companies, stories, and illustration styles are out there now. Anyway, it was good to get out and 'people watch' at the conference, even flirt with some of the cuties. It was definitely worth the trip and I plan on going back next year (early August).
