so here it is....
I took off Tuesday without pay to do a double closing on the houses. For those of you who "don't get it" that means close on the same of the old M. Falcon and close on the purchase of the new and improved M.Falcon. Well, all hell broke loose and the shit hit the fan and it didn't happen. Worse part of that was that we had to wait at home all day because of the "might happen after all" factor, which hit my "trapped in the house" button. Yes, I should have spent the day unpacking, hanging pictures and such but can you make any good decision when your brain has been turned to stress filled tapioca? I think not. So instead I escaped into a book that I have read a hundred and ten times... but any escape was a good one. In any case we waited and waited and waited.... each moment getting us closer to "Dizzy's head is going to explode and take Northern Virginia with it" time. Finally last night at 7:30pm we met up with buyer, brokers and settlement agency and officaially sold the old house. We also got compensated for my unpaid day off and the $40 a day that my parents are paying on thier bridge loan on the new M. Falcon which I wanted to give them back for the days we were supposed to own it already. Today at 3:30pm we are supposed to buy the new M. Falcon (which we are already living in). If anything stupid happens and we get put off again you all can say good bye to Northern Virginia... but I am hoping for the best. I took a shower and everything. Afterward George and I are going to the Lazy Susan dinner theatre to see Steal Magnolias. I have to have something fun after all of this and I was surprised that they still had openings for tonight. In any case that is what has been happening here. There has been a little too much stress for me and I do apologize to those who have been sujected to it. You know who you are. As for now... Ciao!
