friends, friends, friends
for a month now i have been given the chance to meet close friends from different groups. i ran with highschool friends during the unilab run. workmates reunited in SIN when we visited gi who got a scholarship in NUS. a spontaneous dinner and coffee night sprouted after discussing life over ym with my classmates since preschool! household peeps had dinner then fellowship night. another group of highschool friends gathered last night for mexican dinner and gelato dessert. legionmates from juniors and seniors had small talks after our meetings last weekend. i even brought some out for a QC field trip. new workmates from FAST went to ayala triangle over our lunch break for bonus celebration in amici. i'm planning to go back for dinner maybe after holy week to meet college friends.
when you sum all the expenses, you would tell me "phi, save!" but they are priceless moments. it's nice to get in touch with people that you don't normally see every day. we have chosen to live different paths but it's good to know that we get to meet in a certain crossroad to update one another and say "hey, you still matter to me!" and i know it's weird but if ever i'll be looking down at my own funeral, i just know that my heart would keep smiling when i see these people present.
and to a bigger circle of friends in the future! =)
