i had been meaning to write since last sunday but for some reason, connections got bad and time became limited.
anyhow, i got a good rest last weekend. since it was a holiday, we got a longer work-free weekend since we didn't have to report to work for our saturday half-day duty. i brought my members to several churches in QC (namely, parish of the holy sacrifice in UP, st claire, church of the gesu in ateneo, dela strada church along katipunan and christ the king in green meadows) and even reunited with my beloved alma mater. it was a humbling experience since i was able to share what i can to my loved ones and even get to spend time with God for that period. after the short field trip, we headed back to the shrine for our legion work and meeting. i went home alone after that since ritzie went to tagaytay for the weekend for their org plansem.
sunday was another rest day for me. i got hooked with movies on love together with my parents. we stayed home the whole day (but they left in the afternoon for their church duties). adjustment bureau is one of the coolest love stories that i have ever seen. remember that i am an advocate of agape. you don't just accept a certain situation. you move time when you know you are right, when you are not hurting anyone and when you love. for that, go matt damon!
another movie that woke up the kid in me was the movie crazy little thing called love, the thai movie that has been spreading in facebook. i did not have the chance to watch it when i took hold of the file. just when the movie started, i knew it was similar to my own life story =P haha! told you i got so kiddie because of this. well, i didn't actually turned out to be a cum laude in college. i didn't even transformed into a butterfly or became well-known in some place that i've been. but he did inspire me to finish math even if i wasn't very good at it. in fourth year, i heard that he liked my schoolmate in highschool (that was not even taking math) so i ended the crushing stage during our graduation. haha! but i still admire him though. a gentleman that he was, persistent, cool (he still knows how to have fun), generous, smart, God-fearing (this i assumed when i saw him wearing a wooden rosary bracelet <---- i was a very good stalker you know!), good son and brother (assumption again from his facebook pictures.) with that, i wish him all the luck. libis is far from pasay and parañaque is several cities away from mandaluyong anyway =P
since it's lent, i decided to fast from facebook, twitter and plurk. will try to fast from other things too because i observed i have been veering away from the more important things in life. i got clouded with material and other stuffs that may quickly disappear and are not very significant.
oh, and today is my first day for summer class. i took one subject even if miscellaneous is very costly! >_< we'll be going to school once a week so i still hope to enjoy the summer. i wish the same for my sister. her exams for summer class were scheduled on may 7, 23 (a day after her birthday) and 30 (after our scheduled family bonding that i actually imposed since i scheduled my vacation leaves on may 26-28). we will finish school and enjoy our lives after that! amen! =)
