it's not that i'm avoiding my networks presentation. well, maybe i am! =P anyway, i just want to give this special space to my super mom. i just can't believe that she turned 56 already and i'm turning 24 this year! she managed to resign from work and take a full-time role in our humble home as the ever-industrious homemaker that she seems to enjoy now. good thing we have coco and jam to brighten her boring moments at home. and it you're going to look at her hair, no white strands! she keeps her youthful glow after all those years. happy birthday mom, i love you so much! :)
and so today is the feast of pit señor sto. niño which rings a bell to my life, my second anniversary in PAL. here's one photo with my HR friends during my first year. yes, i was suppose to leave the institution several months ago but it seems that God has plans for me in this company. i now have 3 unused plane tickets to any regional or domestic flights. one i'm planning to use with HR friends in march to visit our friend in SIN. must save! must save! must save! the other one i plan to share to my sister as my dependent to take a getaway trip to cebu some time in may. she's been ranting that she wants to visit the place. even if i have been there, i just can't say no right? thus, another must save! must save! must save! here. i'm enjoying my work now since i have back-end access and learning new things related to IT. i'm super blessed also to have a good boss, super duper kind. i would just like to note that when she got back from the US, she gave me a bag, slippers, liquid soap, antibac with sling, chocolates and another pack of chocolates that she also prepared for the other FAST people. super kind, right? so what should i expect when it comes to career this year? continue learning from the new department and hopefully more projects, get to finish more masters subjects to finish asap and enjoy the company of new colleagues. HR family will always have a special place in my heart and i pray that this also happens to FAST in the next months. about the company's stability and compensation? hmmm... pray and just be contented now with what you have. if better opportunities knock this year, we'll see but for now, i stay in PAL with my sto. niño image that my parents gave to me for my first work day.
