Christmas music must die
Break time. Upon further reading in preparation for my big MASTER PLAN final next week, I discovered a chapter the professor had not mentioned in class. Do I need to read it? It may not be on the final, but it will be covered in the certification exam, I have no doubt. GAH! Who’s fucking bright idea was it to have finals right before the Holidays?
As my Hubby tends to do at this time of year, he quickly switched the radio station to the station playing Holiday music last night when we climbed into the car. Guess what was on? “Christmas Shoes” by New Song; before you ask, yes, we rain through the whole Patton Oswalt routine recently posted on YouTube (see below for hilarity).
He did the same thing this morning as I took him to work. Granted, “Christmas Shoes” didn’t assault my ears, but I found whatever song played annoying - annoying to the point that I wanted to stab something small and furry. I imagined said small, furry creature making a most satisfying death squeak. There was lots of blood, far too much for such a wee thing.
Christmas music did this to me. It needs to be brought to JUSTICE.
