My current anti-social behavior is not a reflection of this weekend. Hubby's visit with his daughter and son-in-law went very well. Granted, it started out a day early with the pair arriving at our house before we left for work, but the opted for breakfast and a hotel room at the beach. They slept while we worked. We took them out to dinner at the Port, where the seafood was fresh. We walked along the docks and watched the boats. We played with bait in one of the shops that offer day fishing trips because the SIL wanted to go deep sea fishing at some future point.
We went through pictures back at the house, talking about how they met, shared stories, etc. They left to sleep and in the morning, we went to breakfast. A trip to our neck of the Florida beach wouldn't be complete without a visit to Ron Jon's. Hubby bought her a stuffed dolphin she wanted. We watched the sharks in the tank at the Cocoa Beach shop (boy, has that place changed). By the time we were done, it was too hot for the beach. The couple opted to start their drive to Ft. Myers instead of having their flesh burned from their bones.
She asked if she could call my husband "Daddy." She has a step-father that she likes, who still calls even though he's been divorced from her mother for some time. He's Russ. My Hubby is Daddy.
My son's student loan should be approved shortly (*fingers crossed*). Who knew that all that cleaning of our credit finally paid off!? Next, airline tickets to fly him out there. Driving isn't going to be an option (far more expensive).
I passed my midterm with 80%.
Now, back to my anti-social mood.
