On this rainy day...
I got up at 6:30 this morning and got ready for my run. I then noticed that is was raining so I was hesitant to go, but in the end, I went anyways and boy was it nice. I just felt so much better after a nice run, though I ended up hurting my ankle a bit, but it'll be okay.
Last night marked the first day of my starting to run again. JC and I went to the book store so I could buy a running magazine to subscribe to, this way I have something to use as an outlet that lets me know what is going on in the world of running, who is doing it and when it's being done. I would like to run for this breast cancer marathon, but alas I don't have the money to go and stay in Florida for a few days just to run. On the plus side though, it isn't until February of next year, so we just MIGHT see.
Yesterday was really nice for once in a long long time. JC and I took the girls to the park and had a nice walk, although JC and I about died since we roasted in the heat... But it was good because we got super sweaty and have been wanting to lose weight. After that we went to Pad Thai, where I ordered my usual. When our food came out though, my plate was filled with food, which isn't normal. Then to my surprise, I took one bite and about died, it was soooo spicy. I told JC they must have a new chef, and to our surprise, they had two! So I complemented them and told them that the meal was perfectly spicy and the right proportion. Afterwards, we headed over to Pets Smart, where I found the perfect pair of underwear for Kendra while she is in heat. Once we got home, however, they didn't fit right. Her junk popped out of the hole for her tail as well, and when she tried to stand up, they fell off. Oh well, they are cute and we'll figure something out.
Anyways, it's time for me to sign off and get some breakfast, so I will keep you updated as time goes on!
