Tina immediately felt awkward talking to Rachel. Her old shyness began to steal back over her, and she really wished that she had just stayed on the other side of the room and not said anything. She could tell that Rachel didn't really feel like talking...not like they had major conversations or anything on a regular basis as it was. Still, she could tell that Rachel's smile wasn't genuine. If Tina had to guess, based on the fight before they performed yesterday, things were still not right between Finn and Rachel. She could relate. Oh, she could *so* definitely relate.

"Ah, OK. I, um, just wanted to check. I know we were all fighting yesterday." she paused, trying to figure out what to say. "Mike and I had a huge fight. I accused him of being unfaithful," she admitted. Maybe if she gave info she could get Rachel to talk. "At the time, att the evidence pointed towards that. I hope he can forget me doing that," she said simply. She and Mike had already made up, but she didn't want to throw that on Rachel if she hadn't. Inside, she decided to move on to a safer subject.

"How do you think the performances went yesterday at Sectionals? I was really impressed how we all came together, especially after we were so upset." She left it at that.

Why was Tina telling her this? Rachel knew that Tina didn't really know what had happened to make things worse. Yes, the Santana thing had come out very publicly and it had turned out that everyone knew about it before her, but no one knew about the thing with Noah besides the three of them. So Tina couldn't be busting her on her own unfaithfulness, even if that was what it felt like. The guilt Rachel felt inside only started to eat at her once again. It hurt.

She turned her head away to keep Tina from seeing the tears glistening in her eyes. How would she ever get Finn to forgive her for this one? She knew now just how stupid it was, but at the time it had been all about getting back at him and letting him know just how she felt. Now she sincerely wished she hadn't done it.

Nonetheless, she was relieved at the change of subject. Normally after a big performance likes Sectionals, she would come back to Glee with a series of notes on what they had done well and what they could do to improve for the next time. She had no notes prepared. Last night she had been too miserable to try. To bother. "Well, we're going on, so I guess we did well enough."

Tina immediately wished she hadn't said anything. Originally, she thought since she had thought Mike cheated, and from what she saw yesterday, that Rachel had thought Finn cheated, that this could be something that the two of them could commiserate over. Tina didn't think that her intention came across very well though, no doubt due to her lack of speaking skills. She had been trying to help, but... Still, Tina wondered if she should have said anything at all. Thank goodness she hadn't mentioned that she and Mike had made up! On the other hand, if Rachel was still hurting, Tina didn't want her to have to go through that alone. As they weren't close, though, Tina doubted that Rachel would confide in her. Definitely best to most to a new subject.

Tina figured Sectionals would be a safe subject, but she was surprised at Rachel's response. Usually she gave Tina a lot more feedback on her preformances. "Oh, yeah, true. If we are moving on, I guess we did do a good enough job." Her nervousness was making her have trouble expressing things again. "Well, if you have notes on how I did, uh, please let me know. I mean, if you want to," she finished lamely. "OK, well, thanks," she said. Tina turned to walk away, not wanting to bother Rachel any further.

If it had been as simple as Rachel thinking that Finn had cheated with Santana, things might have been okay. No, they would have. After she got over the fact that Finn was no longer a virgin and that he had slept with Santana of all people, she was ready to forgive him, even for lying to her. If she hadn't made a mistake while she was still angry, things would be perfect now. She hated herself for what she had done. She just wished Finn could see how sorry she was.

"Yeah, I'll let you know," she responded noncommittally. She was sure that Mr. Schuester would be giving them all notes about their performance. Granted, his own notes were never as detailed as hers, but they were all the choir would have this time.

She let Tina walk away and let herself sink back into her own thoughts. Sink back into her own depression. And try to desperately come up with a way to get Finn to take her back. There had to be something she could do.

Tina walked away from Rachel and sat back down. It had been at least worth trying to talk to Rachel, even if she hadn't accomplished anything. She flipped through her notebooks, looking for something, he thoughts wandering back to yesterday.

So, she and Mike had made up, but what about Brittany and Artie? The had appeared to, at least after the performance anyways. Tina felt her stomach clench at the thought. Could that be...jealousy? Tina knew that this wasn't the first time she had felt like this when she thought of Brittany with Artie. Not that she had a reason to be jealous, of course. Hadn't she been the one to break up with Artie? Besides, she was really into Mike...right? Tina knew she felt affection for Mike, but sometimes she caught herself wishing she and Artie were back together. She shook her head, trying to cast out those thoughts. What was she thinking? She really liked Mike! She felt herself flush with shame. How could she be so conflicted? Tina tried to reason with herself, like it could just be that she was concerned for Artie's welfare. Deep down, she knew there was something else brewing, something that even she refused to admit to herself. Resolutely, she pushed those thoughts out of her head, determined to focus on something else.

Finn walked down the hallway, shoulders slumped and his hands in his pockets. He was still furious at Rachel and her retaliation at him. After all, he and Santana got together when he and Rachel had been broken up! Last time he checked, if they were broken up, he was a free man. Besides, how was he to know that they would get back together, anyways? She was dating that stupid traitor, Jesse, at the time. With every footstep he took, Finn felt himself growing angrier and angrier. He just wanted to punch the hell out of the lockers beside him, but he didn't want to wreck his hand for football. Finn simply couldn't understand how Rachel could go behind his back and cheat, just because he had done something she didn't approve of. If he had been with her when he slept with Santana, that would be a whoe different story, but her being disappointed on how things fell out when they weren't together did not warrant an excuse for cheating now. And to cheat with... of all people... Puck! Rachel cheated with Puck, knowing exactly how Quinn had betrayed him with Puck, and got pregnant no less!

He couldn't take Rachel's attempts to make thingsa right. Right now, he just wanted to be left alone. Just looking at her brought those feelings of betrayal back and he couldn't even focus on her. After things died down and weren't so fresh, maybe they could talk, but for now, he didn't want to have anything to do with her.

If her were honoest, Finn just wanted to blow off Glee Club, but now that everyone was kind of looking at him as a leader, he felt bad letting everyone down. Well, all but one person. He only hoped people would just leave him alone today. He ducked in the classroom, hoping no one had spotted him, and took a seat as far across the room as possible from Rachel. Uncharactaristically, he got out a textbook and began studying, anything to take his mind off of her.

Quinn walked into the choir room and she could immediately feel the tension in the air. It was about as bad as Sectionals last year, but it was expected. Right before this year's Sectionals, a few couples had started to fall apart. The one that mattered the most to Quinn was Finn and Rachel. She had never really liked that Finn started dating Rachel after her, but she wanted him to be happy and until recently he had seemed to be really happy with Rachel. Now, as she walked in, she could see both of them on opposite sides of the room. Obviously it hadn't been resolved. Tina looked okay, but she didn't see Mike, Artie or Brittany here yet to tell if things were better for any of them.

She walked over and sat next to Finn. Sure, they weren't together anymore and when they first broke up things had been bad, but she liked to hope they were friends now. Both had moved on, and things were going well for each of them. Well, not now for him. "Are you alright?" she asked him, placing a hand on his arm. There was nothing but concern in her tone and she hoped he wouldn't take it the wrong way. She was with Sam now, officially. Though her heart still ached for someone else.

Rachel watched from her seat as Finn walked into the room. A part of her hoped that he would come over and sit next to her and that everything would go back to normal, but he didn't. She frowned and looked down at the ground, trying hard not to let herself cry. She really had screwed things up this time and she didn't know if fixing it was possible, or even where to begin.

She watched, then, as Quinn walked in and went over to Finn. While she knew that Finn and Quinn were over, she couldn't help but feel jealous. Just because he shot down Quinn for Rachel's little test earlier in the year, that didn't necessarily mean that he would shoot her down now. And she didn't want them to get back together. She wanted Finn to remain free for her. She couldn't take her eyes off the quarterback and the Head Cheerio. No matter how hard she tried.

Finn stared at his textbook, not seeing the words. His anger throbbed throughout his entire body, making it extremely difficult to concentrate. He resolutely stared at the book, unwilling to look for Rachel. He just couldn't deal with her right now.

He heard someone sit down next to him and looked up quickly. He relaxed a bit when he saw it was Quinn. He had long since forgiven her, but the whole situation with Rachel dredged up all of those old feelings of betrayal again. Still, he wouldn't take his anger at Rachel out on Quinn. That wouldn't be fair to her. It had been hard to deal with their break-up when it happened, but Finn considered Quinn a friend now. At least he hoped they were. He knew she was with Sam, and he was finally cool with it, although he still had lingering regrets about their relationship.

He looked up at Quinn, hearing the concern in her voice when she asked how he was. He felt comfort from her slight touch. it was nice to know he had one friend to support him. He shook his head. Not wanting Rachel to overhear him, he talked in a low voice. "No, honestly, things really suck right now. I don't even want to be here." He gave her a pained look. He wished that they would both blow off Glee Club and went somewhere to talk. Oh, how he wished it...

Tina sat in her chair, watching everything unfold. She saw Finn come storming in and sit as far away from Rachel as possible. His dark mood spoke volumes, and Tina knew that something was definitely wrong. She didn't even want to say hello, as she was afraid of upsetting him even further. She wondered what had possibly happened? She wasn't close enough to either him or Rachel, and she knew it would be a while before she heard anything on what was going on. She felt a bit better as she saw Quinn come over to talk to him. Surely that would help, right? Tina realized that she still hadn't seen Mike or Artie. She wondered when they were going to show today...
