For two week start and pass

Isn't it amazing how life can just hit you? When all of the sudden you have three midterms, troubles back in Emerald City and a 2 thousand person event to put on? When you would never expect it.  Last week was more than enough to help me get into october's fright.

School has been upsettingly busy. Last week I had 3 midterms and 1 important test. Fortunately I aced all four of them. I think this will be a good semester. I look forward to my report card. But it was no easy task staying up to date with my studies while planning for battle of the bands, practicing for Fiddle Fest and dealing with drama in and out of state. The only thing I have to remember is that I am a live, well, and made it!

Before Battle of the Bands, I went on a triple date with JJ, Tiffany, Bridgette and Christian. It was such a blast to finally go on a date with some REAL couples. We went to a corn maze for my first time then to the Cheesecake Factory where I bought my usual farfalle with garlic cream sauce.

Battle of the Bands was a "Rockin Success" as put by the Daily Universe, one of Utah's popular newpapers. It's at times like these that I notice I live in small town when my college's Battle of the Bands makes Monday's front page. But needless today, I was still proud and enthused. Many of my friends performed in the Bands and two of the four with which i have friend placed. My new friend Aurora from my modern class won first with her band Imagine Dragons. Watch out for them on MTV; seriously they're a talent worth watching.  The event went too fast, almost like a dream. I was upset when it ended because as much as it made my life hell trying to balance it with school, I would choose it over my studies anyday. I LOVE PLANNING PARTIES!!!

Yesterday I slept in 'till noon...and i deserved it. After church Trent and I headed over to his grandparents house where we cooked a delicious butternut squash and pork dish. We cookd the pork in an applejuice gravy. It's seriously the best thing; call me for the recipe.

I love you all, many of you are in my prayers. I encourage you all to vote. Go to helpvote.com if you are still confused with who to go for. Then research for congress and judges. Every man and women we elect is important! You still have a week. just rock it.

Hopefully I'll post pictures next week,

-Steph
