R.I.P Mr. Kitty
Well
I knew when I woke up today it was going to be a bad day. My Family's
cat Blade passed away. He started coughing and choking on blood and his
nose was bleeding so my Aunt Kristn and Uncle Doug rushed him to the
vet and they told them he had had a brain tumor for a while now and it
finally burst and the best thing would be to have him put to sleeo
because he wasn't going to get any better.
I Have been crying off and on most of the morning ebcause this cat was REALLY part of our family. He was almost as old as me. I'm 21 and he was 20. He survived being shot and having a shot gun shell in his leg, his tail being cut off cause of nerve damage in his back and he also survived being poisened.
Blade was truely part of my family, I have so many memories of him. From him chewing on my pony tail when he wanted me to pet him to always laying on the couch with me. He was one of the meanest cat's around I won't lie but to us he was the sweetest.
I remember he always loved McDonalds french fries and a few tiems I even bough a small fry just for him when I lived with my Aunt & Uncle. But he could tell the difference if you tired to give him Burger King french fries he would look at you as if to say "And why are you feeding me this?" I also remeber he loved Vanilla ice cream and I would always sneak him some when i was eating it. Or when my Aunt would come over and he would growl at her cause he didnt like her. Or if you stopped petting him he would bite your finger a bit as if to say "HEY your not done petting me" All the pother animals knew better than to mess with him. I also remeber when we lived at Sterling he would bring dead mice and birds to the porch as if to say "Here I got you something" hehe or when my cousin was little and she use to tease him and he jumpped on her one day latched his front paws to the sides of her forhead and kicked his back feet. I have alot of memories.
Blade was almost treated like a human and all the other animals we have know that Blade and Tazz rule the house. Blade ruled my Uncle Doug and Aunt Kristn's house and Tazz rules here in my house.
Everyone is upset my mom, my aunts, uncles, grandma, my boyfriend Thomas, Nick, Tyler, Drew, Matt, AJ, This cat was just not some household pet he was out family and he will be missed. Life is honestly not going to be the same with out him. I lost one of my family memebrs today and it hurts.
I went to my Aunt & Uncle's to see Mr. Kitty before we bury him tonight. It was strange cause I we petting his paw and it was like I was half expecting him to bite me cause he never liked his belly or paws touched. He looked so peacful but I guess it's for the best because he was so old and he lived a good life .I just hope he knew we loved & cherished him and there will enver be another cat like him.
*Crys* Damn it this is hard. My friends animals have passed and yeah I wa sa bit sad but this is like my heart is in my stomach because I loved Blade, he and I gre up together. He was a kitten when my Uncle got him and I was a year old. We lived together most of our lives. My Uncle moved in with us when I was one so it wa sme my Mom my Uncles Doug and Frank Granny and Blade. and then when my Mom Granny & I moved into the town house we took Blade with use and then when My Uncle doug bought a house and we moved in with him for a while Blade came with us and then when we moved around the corner Blade stayed with Doug but he would always come lay on our porch.
I am going to miss him like Crazy :-( it's really hard. But atleast I have all the memories of him . Sorry if I am Babbling, I am just trying to find an outlet
