the new year

So the new year is already 4 days old!
In this short time I made a trip with my car (and my boyfriend) to Paris to see if there where any sales. Sadly enough it was not, it was cold and I was annoyed that the good restaurant we went last year, had gone backwards in quality and quantity.
The next day we went back to Brussels and looked for some sales there.
Oh, and I got ill, I have a throat irritation or something and my sinuses have joined the party.

This year ( like all the others) I've made some resolutions, although I know I haven't kept them previous years this year I am quite determined to keep some of them.

The first one is getting my weight down. I like to eat too much and well, too much. I do eat varied and rather healthy. For instance I don't eat meat every day. But when I do eat it is with a lot of carbon hydrates and sugars. So if I eat vegetables, it's a lot of it.
So, The first thing for my weight is trying to downsize the quantity of food.
The next thing is getting some exercise. First of all, I hate exercising. It takes time, I have to shower after sweating and I feel embarrassed if other people can watch. So, I'm going to find some exercise that I can practice at home. For instance I will try to juggle every day. I will not define any time because it will just make me give up on it due to time pressure. (the same happens with piano playing, the teacher wants me to measure the time played, and then I stop.) So just to juggle once a day is a minimum.  And to build up an exercise routine. I plan to use some music and make some exercise routine like a few push ups leg lifting, that sort of stuff, I'm going to search youtube for it, or some books in the library.Just something to do as a warm up, or wake up for the day.
This is all stuff health wise.
Next is art and school. Well, since school is art related.
I want to have a summer without any secondary exams. My four last summers where like that, and I always wrestled through one or all of them in the end. It sucks balls.
I want to make my web shop at www.feathersofanangel.webs.com known, post regularly and create a returning customer group. But this is inferior to my goals for school. Also to build up a set of items for my website which I can reproduce or make multiple items of. But this is just an idea to work towards.
Then, for my skills, I want to work on the 100 theme's challenge. I want to do more planning with my art. Do lot's of thumbnails, try different angles and build a work of art. To end with an A3 sized finished work of art with traditional means.
Then, I want to try and get myself composing some more, I will be working with the awesome nikivandermosten, who graciously let's me compose music for his short film. I have some vocal music in mind and I know someone who directs a choir. Maybe they want to work with us. But of course first of all I have to write the score.
To be more realistic  with my goals. For my weight, for instance, I have chosen to loose 1 kilo per month, and stay that month on that weight or go below if it goes that way :) so that it's not like, ow noes must loose weight now! kind of way, or, must make artsz nowsz!!!!
But I'll stop jabbering now.
