time's running out
last night i went to see boogeyman... i thought it was weird but i'll admit it did give me a few scares.
so this morning i woke up late... and got ready in a hurry but i wasn't all the way ready whenever marcy came to get me so i was rushing and i forgot my cell phone... which would have come in handy later... but at least i remembered all of my music... so we went to tamura's house to practice our quartet before we went to ASU for solo and ensemble... we just ran through it like once... and it was terrible... but after we hung out for a while we headed over there and played for the judge... i didn't do my best but oh well... as soon as we finished i had to go warm up with desi and april... that was terrible too... i felt, again, rushed. my strings slipped way out of tune and they wouldn't stay in tune and i forgot my rockstop because i wasn't thinking... so we went and played for the judge and it ended up being really good... i did way better than i did on my flute. but i was way more nervous... soo... after that i went and waited around... i found out that i got a one on both ensembles... yaaay! that means that i lettered... in orchestra... bout time. also means we're going to state... again... so i hung around and talked to people for a long time... a few hours... until tamura took me home. it was fun.
tonight was choir's dinner theater. i was really hungry so good thing there was food (hence 'dinner' theater). and good thing karen came later so she could get me more food. haha... the highlight was definately hannah and drew's song that they wrote and 'performed'... it was really cute... even though hannah's guitar was tuned wrong... it was awesome and i was really proud of her. speaking of hannah... 2 days until 2 years : )
