Simple Luxuries

Aug 30, 2007 12:36

There's nothing more luxurious than going through your desk (the top mine only a glorified table) and clearing it off of books and dust and old mail that I shredded. Taking the pledge to it, and now reclaiming my desk. It now looks rather nice again.

I've been cleaning my room with garbage bags and purging myself again (this happens every six months) where I toss out old clothes, shoes and such throw a lot of things out and otherwise clean from top to bottom.

I never do it when I'm told. But rather, when I get around to it. I always feel productive when I get around to it. I only have a few places to go.

  • Table by the Bed (which currently has open Discourses by Niccolo Machiavelli (people need to stop using The Prince as true Machiavelli thought...))
  • The top of my short bookshelf
  • The top of my chest of drawers
  • Re-vacuum
  • ???
  • Profit

  • A clean room is a happy me. I also need to re-subscribe to Foreign Affairs...

Oh yeah, my sister has a nice haircut... she's rather bashful about it right now and is hiding from AIM so I can't message her computer about it.
