catching up...
It's been a crazy couple of weeks. Last Friday my manager at the hotel called me up and told me that her and one of the owners wanted to have a meeting w/ me, well I had a really bad feeling...The owner proceeded to tell me that they were "eliminating my position" I asked him how long I had to find a place and move out and he told me as long as I needed. I talked to him the following Monday and asked him why I couldn't continue working at the front desk, he told me that they were all around cutting costs, hmmm that's funny, a girl who's worked there 3 weeks still has her job, I had been there 3 years and was being royally screwed over. Oh well all things happen for a reason and I believe that this was meant to happen because I had a new apartment and had most of my thing moved out 2 days after. So I now live in Harvey have my very own place, with a kitchen! It's kinda small but I love it.
School is going good, I am thinkin' about withdrawing from 2 of my class and and just continuing with Social Psych seeing is that is the only one I need to graduate...seeing as financial aid is trying to screw me over yet again. I think it will be much easier right now seeing as I don't have to go to the class so I could just keep up on the reading and the online quizzes and tests and work close to full time so I can make my bills. Everything seems to be falling into place...I have my own apartment, I'll be graduating soon, and hopefully will be able to find a decent job around here for the time being until I decide what the hell I want to do with the rest of my life.
I can't believe I will be in Houston w/ Jacalyn in less than a month...I can't wait, I need to get away from all of this for a bit especially all of this snow :)
