Why is my Mooney Suzuki 'Electric Sweat' album orange, and all the copies I see now are pink?
I quit 'the band' (thats sounds so much cooler than it was). I can't say anyone was surprised to be honest. We agreed on nothing, nothing at all, except that...well, actually, nothing. I wasn't really happy with it all anyway. I want a band that fucking rocks, in a sort of aviator shades and leather jackets and black mini skirts all worn at once kind of way, whilst everyone else kept scowling and pulling faces, and trying to be serious. And Mel kept saying 'sing properly Vicky, don't sing so deeply', whilst I pointed out for the fortieth time I can't hit high notes. the other problem was that I know Mel so well, I couldn't giver her lyrics without her, well, not laughing, but looking at me strangely. They're sort of throwaway, but then the odd thing that comes from something personal, and I guess she wasn't comfortable reading things from my head.
So whilst I'm happy to be out of that, I'm now band less, and frustrated. Cardiff doesn't seem to be the place to find people who want to play the same game as me. Oh hell, I don't know...
