I don't know why I'm up this early on my day off, but I am. The Today show is on and I can't believe what this woman is saying. She basically blamed the United States decline as a world power on our weight problems...
....um, wha?
Our decline as a world power is because we can't manage a couple of trillions of dollars, not because our waistbands are expanding. We can always lose weight, but the future is uncertain when it comes to if we can get out of this economic hole that is threatening to swallow us up at any moment.
