Well I was born in Nebraska in 1927 and lived there until I was 6 years old and then went to Wyoming, which I hated the snow storms and winters. I walked in snow 4 ft deep to get to my 8th grade graduation. After that I went 9th grade in Wyoming, 10th in Texas, 11th in Grand Jct. and 12th in New Mexico. That is when I met my childrens father and ended up getting married, in fact was married when I got my 12th grade diploma. Enough for this time.

I was born at Fort Robinson, Nebraska at a Calvary Post. My dad worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and we lived in the section house there, my dad,s father also worked for the railroad. I lived in Amarillo , Texas for a year and my dad was working for Stearn Rogers out of Denver and they put in a helium plant just out of Amarillo. The snowstorm that messed up my 8th grade was at Keeline, Wyoming. I was staying with my Grandma Packard, as my folks had moved to Scottsbluff, Nebraska, then when school was out I went there also. I remember getting farm eggs for 12 cents a dozen there. I and a friend of mine worked in the sugar beet field thinning the beets and then when grown would go along and throw them in a truck. Was hard work but that is how I earned my first bicycle. Love angel momma

Yes it was a green shiny bike, and I kept it until your dad sold it to a Navajo after we married. I will never forget when I bought it, I had been riding my girlfriends bike and wasnot to good at it yet, and we bought the bike at Firestone and when we got almost home my dad stopped the car and put the bike out and said now you ride it home. I was kind of nervous but I did it. Angelmomma
