reflection
It's funny...
watching Bend it Like Beckam to fall asleep.. so this shouldn't be a long entry..
more of a reflection than anything.
I have a picture near my bed, on the windowsill. A picture of Leo and I taken at his cousin Kristin's wedding. I have looked at this picture many, many times.. but today when I looked at it I saw something different and I had to stop and laugh.
Hence the entry.
He's in red, I'm in black. We're smiling, our foreheads pressed together. We're opposites, in so many ways, and the "tv" couples come to mind.. you know (mostly serentity at the moment because its sitting next to my computer...) wash and zoe, simon and kaylee...
the doctor and the engineer
and boy, you should look at us... we really, really, really look the sterotypes... I'm an "Asian doctor" and Leo's the "white engineer" complete with the horned rimmed glasses.
you know, someday someone is going to make some racist comment that's going to make my blood boil (I'm barring all the ones covered by my aunt and mother already) but in the meantime, we really do look cute/hilarious together. And we love each other and want this to work, so hey, here it goes...
I just hope our babies are smart.. or I'll have to adopt some. :-P Not that I've ever had a problem with adoption...
