Want a dog?
Does anyone out there know of any dog rescue/shepard rescue organizations? Alternately does anyone want a german shepard?
A couple of days ago my parents found a german shepard (18 months, good health, good teeth, per the vet) near their house. He is a very nice dog--no aggression, walks well on leash, etc.--but they can't really keep him right now. We're trying to find him a good home. Apparently he was adopted from the Monterey Road SPCA somewhere over a year ago, but the family that owned him got deported and the people (relatives?) who took over their house didn't want him and set him loose (the jerks). (He was microchipped which got my parents the address.)
