PICTURES!
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=109628&id=636295987&l=6d026a35bf I am a bit museum'd out I think. National Gallery and British Museum. Art and History. Lots of walking. The National Gallery was first up. Got there soon after opening. Trafalgar Square was very nice and in a very nice area. The art in the Gallery was incredible! So beautiful! One thing I noticed though about the old artists... lots of breasts. But very beautifully and tastefully done. Also, the women in the portraits and pictures... Look Normal. Not he skinny skinnies of today. Very refreshing. The Da Vinci picture they have was a bit disappointing though. Then it was to the British Museum.
Lots of artifacts! So much history from all over the world! After a few hours of wondering around it all started running together. It was about that time I found the museum book store. One good thing about only having a backpack is that you have to think more about what you buy. I found a nice small book about British Mythology. Then I headed back to the hostel.
I met two new room mates, both American. We went to a nearby pub together for dinner. It was nice. Then I returned to the hostel, did my internet stuff and headed to bed.
Next up....
TOWER OF LONDON!
