1) your clock could be ticking. not that you want to hear that, but it needed to be said.

OR!

2) you've got ideas and projects you want to get started (birthed) and done (raised). it's a new year, time for new things.

OR!

3) your clock could be ticking. :p

Well, even if my clock is ticking, make it stop. It's still very annoying.

oh but whyever not :( lol.

I don't know, I think it's just stemming from the fact that I see pregnant people all the time, in the news, in real life, in friends etc.

that could be it, too. do your best to ignore it if you don't want to have kids right now. or go play with a puppy. or small children. it'll help get the whole "i want babies!" thingy out of your system and you won't have to deal with all the real life, day to day stress being a parent brings.

LOL I know I know.

I babysat a two year old and a three month old some time in December and the moment the mom left the house the almost asleep three month old woke up and cried. LOL She told me that when she was leaving she heard him starting to fuss and left as quickly as possible lol. XD

Yeah, that totally killed my I want a baby mode back then rofl.

I don't want a baby really, nor a puppy. I've just been thinking for a long time how wonderful it would be that since I am the oldest grandchild on both sides of the family, how nice it would be that they would see their FIRST EVER great-grandchild. I wanted my great-grammy to see her GREAT GREAT Grandchild but sadly, she passed away in April 2007....

yeah, babysitting does put things into perspective for ya, doesn't? :p

and i remember you talking about your great grandma. i'm sorry for your lost there, kiddo. but there's still your grandma! and there's always the happy fact that the old ones are always watching us, wherever they are.

we've got great grandkids by the half dozens in my mom's family these days. my dad's parents passed when i was in hs and college so there's no real rush there. so i get to do the whole, "no kids for me" dance for a while yet. i mean, my mom's parents have 7 great grands and my mom has one grand kid. that's plenty. and my mil is behaving herself about NOT harrassing us to have kids. plus, there's always dusty's brother! haha! :)

Well certainly there is no official pressure put on me. It's just that I think all these things just kinda put me into overdrive babies mode. Did that make sense? The fact that my great grammy passed and never got to see her great great grandchild, though there's a possibility that she was too much in pain and too far gone to even realize what's going on.

Then there's the friends from HS who're already married and having kids or have kids.

And the fact that I want my grammies to see their great grandkids....

I am just adding pressure to myself about an issue doesn't even exist lol.
