I think of Sara as an observant person, and I like to write her that way. It doesn't hurt that she's usually observing Neal, so that makes it all the more fun. :D Thanks!

Very nice! I love how Neal doesn't say a lot and tries to project an image, but Sara is able to see through it.

Thank you! Neal is usually trying to project an image, but in this 'verse, everyone has seen him at his worst - except for Sara. So I think he'd naturally try to show her the Neal that he thinks she wants to see, and then find it too exhausting to keep up for very long.

One of the things that I love about Sara sees him for who he is a lot of the time - she knows he's a con man and is always trying to see through or past the con. I think that helps her in this piece too.

I loved this!!!! Neal is so loveably fragile and Sara is so understanding and caring.

This was a perfect bridge between Stormy Weather and 12 Years Later.

Oh, nice! I love how Sara can read Neal and is so understanding. And Neal, not completely pushing her away. Knowing he wants more but just is not ready for it yet. Lovely moment.

Thank you! Neal is warring with himself - he wants more but he knows he shouldn't and she's leaving so he wants it that much more. *hugs him tight* I loved Sara here too. I love them as a couple. :D

Awww, this is just the perfect mix of romance with h/c. I love how Sara sees through Neal and that while he wants to be with he, he realizes and acknowledges that he's not ready yet. Thank you for writing this fill :)
