[ There’s a bright flash of white light before a seemingly endless flower field appears, extending way beyond to what the eye can see, there’s even the distant sound of the ocean in the distance, followed by the sweet song of the birds, a drift of wind slowly causes the sea of flowers to sway in rhythm to it, before a rather confused Rinoa appears. ]
This is…it’s our flower field. [ A small gentle smile appeared on her face and she walked further. ]Even in my dreams I think of this place, of what this place now means to me, of the strength and reassurance that’s in the promise that we made together that day.
[ She stands there for a few seconds feeling the sunlight against her skin, before starting to hum to a gentle tune from a song her mother used to sing to her every night, before she realizes it she is spinning around, the petals of the colorful flowers caressing the exposed skin of her legs and she finally stops with a breathless laughter. ]
To dream of this place before we have to face our destiny and try save the future, I guess it’s kind of fitting to be able to be back in this place, this was a place that was so important to you and not it is for me as well, the most important place in the world.
[ For a few instants there seems to be the sound of children laughter before there in the distance, she spots what appear to be two individuals, by the specks of blue and black her heart know who they are and what exactly is happening. A content laugh escapes her lips at the same time another draft of wind blows again with enough force to scatter some petals and she quickly catches some between her hands, her eyes fixed in the two figures. ]
I know that you can’t hear me, but I will hope that my voice will at least reach any dream you might be having or that at the very least my feelings can reach you, and I promise again that I will be waiting for you here like we said, no matter what the future or what the outcome of this battle is…I promise you that I will do everything that’s possible against Ultimecia to be able to be here, I will not give up and neither will you because we are going to fulfill our promise…
