personality: Rinoa is a person that's constantly lead by her emotions, tending to think more with her heart than with her head; while it ends getting her in trouble, it also makes her quite an unselfish person that will help anyone that needs it. When she's angry, she’s a force to be reckoned with. She won’t hesitate to speak her mind without any type of reserve and tell anyone what she thinks without any censorship. She also seems to be rather empathic to what other people are feeling; despite being a woman that lives with her heart on her sleeve and gut feeling, it doesn't mean she's stupid.
She's quite an intelligent and clever woman due to her upbringing in a high military society. With her father being quite a high figure in the military, she had access to that knowledge and how it worked, which was something that aided her with the Timber Owls and being part of a high society provided her with excellent education. After joining the Timber Owls and being away from the high life style she knew, she acquired a bit of daily life knowledge.
Regardless of her upbringing, she's not a particularly selfish or pampered girl, giving up her high-style life for the life the Timber Owls offered and opposing to her "innocent" aura, she's a strong willed and independent woman that can generally take care of herself.
While she doesn't particularly likes fighting, having grown up with a military parent and in a post-war world, she probably had a lot of unwanted knowledge about the tolls of the Sorceress War and how cruel things can be. Her mother made her appreciate the importance of a peaceful life and what it provides to others. When she joined the Timber Owls it was to help Timber achieve their freedom, even if it meant through the means of fighting. Her time with Squall and the rest made her even more aware of the world, it became clear to her that fighting it's just a side of human nature, a side that she had to understand and accept.
Like any normal person, she has her weaknesses. Due to the early death of her mother and her strained relationship with her father, she probably filled that void with a lot of friends and being surrounded by people. Rinoa feels a deep insecurity about her abilities, she's also deathly afraid of rejection and isolation from others. In a way, she learned to compensate the affection her father was unable to openly express, after her mother's death, by having individuals around her that liked and cared for her. But her biggest fear is being alone, considering the childhood she had after the death of her mother and this fear only got worse after she turned into a sorceress.

While she might not look that much as a warrior with her fragile and petite looks, she is a very strong woman. Even though she might not like fighting, she was in a rebel group where fighting was going to be needed. She trained to use a weapon called ‘Blaster Edge’ and became quite adept at it, even though she was kind of self-taught in the manner of fighting; she was skilled enough to be able to keep up with Squall and the others despite that they had been given proper military like training in the garden compared to her.
Weapon: Shooting Star
Combine: It's a series of tricks that have been taught to Angelo. There are some limits where they will work together and ones where Angelo will act on its own, it will depend. The combine abilities are: Angelo Search, Angelo Canon, Invisible Moon, and Wishing Star. However Angelo is not here and thus will rely on other things. ***
Sorceress
Rinoa awoke as a sorceress when Edea accidentally transferred her powers to her and prior to that Rinoa didn’t even know she could take the powers of a sorceress (a very rare trait in her world). As a sorceress she can cast magic naturally without the aid of the Guardian Forces like the rest, it also keeps her from drawing magic from enemies since all spells are available for her already -including signature spells from other sorceress like the Maelstrom, Hell’s judgment and Apocalypse.
To date is possible that Rinoa is the strongest sorceress in existence, the sorceress power has a quality of being cumulative when it moves from sorceress to sorceress -explaining why even personal spells from other sorceress can be used and there might even be remnants of the personalities of former sorceress (which might be a factor for the corruption of the powers), also due to the irony with Time Compression Rinoa ended with Ultimecia's power’s as well, which had managed to become the true heir of Hyne by managing to get the half power he left behind in the form of the sorceress power.
Rinoa is quite a powerful spell caster for every kind of magic and making her potentially dangerous. There are other another wide range of abilities sorceress posses like: telekinesis/telepathy/mind control, barriers, phasing through solid objects, control of elements, breathe life to inanimate objects and death with a single touch, but Rinoa is not even aware of all them asides from the barriers, mind control, phasing and breathe of life since she saw Edea use them.
Angel Wing: Is the prime, pure and raw state as a sorceress, wings sprout from her back and initiate a full sorceress mode. While under the influence of this state her magic and possibly physical strength increases to incredible levels and she will not be affected by spells like silence, blind, etc., to incapacitate her. The downside of this power is that Rinoa will lose control and she will not recognize between friends or foes. She will attack without a second of hesitation and won't stop until either her "enemy" has fallen/died or someone manages to knock her out leaving her unconscious. This state might only appear when her life is in grave danger acting as a defense method to keep her alive and she might not want to activate it willingly.

She was alone and painfully aware that they were getting closer and closer to the Lunatic Pandora to challenge Sorceress Adel. The same sorceress that SHE had unwillingly released from her prison in space and it was that guilt that had made her agree to take Adel’s powers after her defeat.
No, her friends couldn't understand how she was feeling in those moments; Rinoa had after all agreed to become a puppet yet once again. She was going to accept the powers of the evil sorceress that had brought war and death to the planet out of guilt and then allow herself to be possessed by Sorceress Ultimecia once again. A small shudder ran down her spine at the mere thought of being possessed by the sorceress of the future for a third time.
"...Mom." Her voice was soft and with a slight hint of a sorrowful sadness that sounded so surreal to her own ears; slowly she grasped the rings that hung from her silver necklace. "Please, give me strength, don't leave me now."
A sudden wave of peace overwhelmed her, one that was allowing her to see that this sacrifice was for a greater good. With this they were going to have the chance to reach Ultimecia and stop her once and for all. A small smile appeared on her face feeling more hopeful with the results they were going to have, raising her head she was able to see the Lunatic Pandora in the distance, with a look of sheer determination gathering all of her courage and faith Rinoa stood up and went to the cockpit fully confident that they were going to succeed.
