Wesley and Fred
Honorable mention goes to Lindsey/Eve, because Eve is the suck, and also, how the fuck did these two people even meet, much less hook up and concoct the stupidest plan in existence?
Shock. Dismay. I dislike Fred and I'm a hardcore Wes/Lilah person. Really, is anyone shocked by my decision?
So, the why. Really, this decision has way less to do with my dislike of Fred (who could have been a decent to good character if she was written A LOT better) and more with the fact that, in Season 3, Fred kind of making eyes at both Gunn and Wes all but destroyed their friendship, and, in Season 4, it was mainly done in a way to show that there was still a divide between Wes and the others (not sure why that couldn't have been shown with him continuing to see Lilah, but whatever), and, in Season 5, it almost came from what felt like complete left field. She had more chemistry with Spike at the beginning of the season than Wes. Although, in my opinion, Wes and Fred had better nerd!bonding and friend chemistry and anything resembling romantic. I mean, he had better chemistry with Cordelia on Buffy, for crying out loud! And that should say something.
Although I kinda still wish that Wes and Cordelia got together at the end of the first season, but I'm a dork.
