Wesley and Lilah
I simply could not choose between one picture of them. Obviously, my choice is Lilah and Wesley. Such a powerful dynamic that just couldn't be ignored. Also, some of the hottest scenes ever put on the show, in my opinion. Watching her dressed up as Fred was awesome, even if the scene was kind of sad since it somewhat portrayed him as wanting to have Fred instead of Lilah at the moment.
I think they really did grow to love and care for one another at the end of it. The fact that he went in to rescue her from Wolfram & Hart at ALL shows that there was at least some level of love there, because it was a lot to rescue someone from there when you didn't really give a crap about them like you tried to claim.
I know I went over a lot of this in my entry about Lilah as my favorite female character as well.
If I had a second runner up, it would probably be Angel/Cordelia by default. I also enjoyed Fred and Gunn together, but that was really bittersweet because of what it did to Wes and Gunn's friendship, plus just alienating Wes from the team as a whole. I know it was needed for plotline, but still...damn.
