I've had a bad week and a half or so, so I couldn't come up with much that made me 'happy' about my life to write on here about. I got a call from my doctor about a doctor's appointment. I have a low thyroid count and my cholesterol is 290, which made me less than happy, I'm sure you can imagine. I've got a bundle of new medicine to take now, though. Hopefully the one for my low thyroid will help me lose weight and lower cholesterol. That's the hope of the doctor, anyway. Supposed to see him again in two months to let him know how that's working out.

Depression over THAT has caused me to get behind in school work and basically blow off my assignments for the last week. Not really an excuse, but it's what happened. I'm not the only one behind, which makes me feel a little better. One problem was it took my professor and I *forever* to figure out a topic for my paper for the class that was broad enough for the particular paper I have to write, which is a historiographical paper. Still, I finished THIS week's assignment tonight, and will go to campus tomorrow to write up an annotated bibliography that was due on October 1st (seriously, NOT proud of that, but I'm working on it). Then I have to pick two books for book reviews and get one done for October 12th. Delightful.

Five Good Things About Today:
1.) Remembered to take all medication. (I'm notoriously forgetful about this stuff.)
2.) Got my homework done for the week.
3.) Cleaned living room, vacuumed carpet, and cleaned out couch.
4.) Enjoyed a happy day with Brian yesterday. He's only off about twice a week, so I don't get to spend much time with him.
5.) Drank lots of water today, which is good for me.
