Night One of Hurricane Maddness...
Well, it's Sunday night of Hurricane Maddness (sounds like the name of someone's prom, eh?), and I'm not sure if the power will go off in the next couple of days. If I had known how bad traffic would be getting in Baton Rouge, I would have cut outa here as soon as I got my car back yesterday (Brian's parents paid for it, will pay them back at a later date). But hindsight's 20/20. So, now I must buckle down in Watson, LA with the rest of the populous. Hopefully, we don't get hit too badly over here. I need to find my cell phone to charge it up. I am hoping that all of this hooplah in Baton Rouge is over nothing and I can go home Tuesday like planned, instead of Wednesday or beyond like I'm being told.
