This term... oy. It's only occurring to me now that I'll be a senior next year, and expected to go out into the real world after that. That's a very, very scary thought. But oh boy, the things I'll need to do to graduate. I'll be taking at 17 credits each term of my senior year, and most people I know ended up with at least one term of 14. I've got a 17 and a 19, and the one that looks less intense has my senior seminar in computer science. I'm practically going to be living in the computer science building next year, since I've got all four classes there, and then a half hour a week voice lesson, and Singers, and recital credit, and work, and... all that jazz. In a sense, it won't be any worse than this term, because I'll be dealing with the same level courses, and the morals class should be at least moderately interesting. Spring term... will be a sprint to the finish. And I might not get a chance to take Psych because it will simply be too hard. ::pouts:: I was looking forward to that, too.
I've decided to work the last part of the summer, so if possible, certain people should come and visit me (I'm looking at you, Mel and Chelsea). I always tell myself that I won't get any busier each year, and I keep doing it. Hopefully, the workplace will be easier. ::laughs ruefully:: Or at least a different sort of busy.
Things to do this summer:
1) LEARN HOW TO DRIVE. NO MORE PUTTING IT OFF.
2) Clean my room. Since we are indeed putting the house on the market, soon.
3) Talk to my grandmother about getting a vehicle, so I can drive myself to the grocery store this summer.
4) UPDATE MY LJ LAYOUT, ESPECIALLY SINCE I HOPE TO HAVE A DREAMWIDTH ACCOUNT WITH A SIMILAR LAYOUT AT THAT POINT.
5) Sleep. That's always a priority, but in the face of my senior year, I will need to tank up on as much of it as possible.
Anyway, pointless update is pointless. This is just to say that I am alive and, while not precisely well, coping with copious amounts of stress pretty decently at any rate.
What's going on in your lives?
college,
aahh!
