alex's funeral was today...
it was probably one of the nicest funerals i'll ever attend. there were so many people there that there was standing room only in the church, and there wasn't even that much standing room left. i bet there were over 500 people there. it was amazing to see how many lives alex touched in less than 16 short years. her dad did an awesome job of capturing alex's life in a speech that the pastor read for him. alex was such an amazing person...i think most of us who knew her only wish we knew her better. i can't wait to hang out with her when i get to the place where she is now.
