(no subject)
Ho-lee shit, I haven't even posted this month yet! I'd better let you know roughly how the month started...
Thursday was pretty much uneventful, except that my grandad bought the new Terry Pratchett book, Unseen Academicals. I haven't read it yet, but it came with little old-fashioned football cards with the characters on them, which were in a little plastic packet attached to the inside back cover, and that makes me happy in so many ways.
On Friday my copy of the Lush Times came (to tell me that Snow Fairy is back), my grandad left (to get the train down to my sister's place for the weekend), and I went to volunteering. Went okay - didn't get everything done, but I've made a list of everything so I can finish it off next week :)
Saturday was the brother-in-law's party, which meant being in a car for two hours to get there. The party itself was quieter than most of our family parties, but I still spent most of it outside talking to people.
Sunday was talking to more (sober) people, followed by coming home and collapsing. I managed to watch both Merlin 2.03 and FlashForward 1.01 later on, and want more of both.
Today, somehow, has been a disaster - well, two dizzy spells and an asthma attack. I think part of it's because I didn't sleep much over the weekend, and then had to get up early for a doctors appointment this morning. However, I got a big bottle of Snow Fairy and a 10% off voucher from Lush for my trouble. I count this as a win.
