(no subject)
what a weekend.
i came home friday to just sit around and wait for lindsay to get home. we went to the funk shaw at the eagles hall. MAN IT WAS AMAZING! in the beginning there we no one there. we just sat around and watch the first three bands: by no means, against reason (whom was very good), and man vs machine. then the funk team finally decided to show up and after i complained i wanted coffee jay handed me his coffee mug and as i put it up to my lips i gagged and gave it back. it was BEER! anywho the funk played an AMAZING SHOW! they definitely stole the show by far. me and lindsay sold some merch along with the guys. (40 bucks worth!) after that we all sat at the merch table and me and lindsay dancing to when in rome, then sometime in april played an acoustic set which was really good. the highlight was dancing to semi-charmed kind of life with justin, by far! after the show me and lindsay headed of to the pub and of course saw sean thoman, then off to home we went.
saturday i works 11:45 to 8:45 and it sucked! the day just drug and we were so busy. we are trying to hire so many new people it's ridiculous and they want me and a few others to train them all. i was like are you kidding me?! considering i only work weekends i am curious to see how this works out. saturday night i did all of nothing. i got home and started writing my review of the show friday night for the collegian (my school's paper). i guess it turned out all right. i hope it did!
sunday i had work AGAIN! i hate this only working on the weekends thing that throw hours at me insane-like. anyway it was an ok morning i works 7-4. we had shipment to process so that was easy. lindsay and matty b came in to see me. apparently they were in the store for like 10 mins until i finally realized they were there. i was completely out of it. anywho we talked for a little then they headed out to run errands. after getting out of work 15 minutes late i raced home to eat and then left for lasalle.
this weekend was by far the craziest weekend i have yet to have. i had to write 2 papers and study for a test, all due today, while working 20 hours and going to a show. but i did it! and now i will take my huge sigh of relief!
