Disclaimer: I hate the band Nickelback. They make "canned meat" music for their Vh1 audience. Canned music, for those unaware, is music, like canned meat, that resembles what it used to be but you need to call it something entirely different. Like Spam. It looks like ham but you can't identify what part of the pig it came from- it's generic.
I've seen their new video, If Everyone Cared, twice and both times it has made me cry like a baby. I don't know if it's because of everything with Chuck or what but something about the video, which spotlights what inspired activists to lead monumental changes like Nelson Mandela and B. Geldof (of Live 8).
I need to go listen to The Cure; Robert Smith will give me rock endurance.
