A go home and hug your cat type night at work

So last night had already tugged on my emotions a little when a very cute, very sweet love muffin of a kitten was taken back to the shelter to be euthanized because he was an FIP suspect and they don't approve of "mercy adoptions"(basically a sick animal is adopted until if get real bad then it get put down) when there are so many healthy animals

Um see this is when I wish people could be forced to immediately suffet that which they onflict on their pets. Don't they get that they took on responsoibility for this animals life when they gave it a home? *grrrr* and this is why I hate people. *hugs*

I feel the same way but we arn't really aloud to just turn to the owner and tell that they fail as a human being.... even if that's what we are screaming in our heads.

Yeah I know. I had a tough time with that some days when I worked at a vets office.

Wow, that's just wrong...made me even tear up a bit over here. If I had any cats, I would totally be hugging them after that!

yeah as the doctor was euthinizing the cat in back away form the owner i finally gave in and tears were rolling down my face, the doctor told me to leave. See i don't normally cry or even tear up at euthinasias, that's why the doctors like me in those situations. I build up a fourth wall. But that cat's suffering was horiible.

Jesus and this man has kids.... Makes me want to call CPS just to do a walk through on his home. If the cats are neglected so horribly, he obviously has no comprehension to take care of ANYTHING.

When I read this last night, I was in tears... and, yes, I hugged my Cami Kitty.
I can't even begin to tell you how angry I feel towards that so-called 'owner'... they shouldn't be permitted to have a pet... ever...
