Well, it's been just over a week since i graduated from my job training for the navy. That's a year and a half of my life that I'll never get back. But it was definitely worth it, because if I hadn't been there I would never have met Spencer, my amazing boyfriend. So the year and a half of Chinese was definitely worth it. I'm excited to be done. Excited to move on to actually learning my job and going to an actual duty station. And I'm so lucky that I'll have Spencer there with me. I can't believe that we'll have been together for a year next month!

Right now we're both Ohio for a week, then we're heading to Washington state to see his family, then it's off to our next duty station where we'll be for the next three years. We're hoping to get a place together since we'll be advancing to petty officer and able to live off base. I'm so happy I have him in my life. The past 64 weeks has been tough, the Chinese course is super intense and having Spencer there made everything easier.

In other news, my brother got married this past Wednesday. It was just a civil ceremony in the courthouse, but they're going to have an actual wedding later, once my brother figures out if he's going to be able to stay in the Navy. His rate is really overmanned, so he's probably going to have to switch jobs if he wants to stay in.

That's about it really. I'm happy that I was able to introduce Spencer to my family and that they all seem to get like each other. I've also become completely hooked on WoW. I'm a gnome warrior and this amuses me muchly. ^-^v

I'm hoping that once I'm settled in at my new duty station I'll be able to get caught up on all the anime and manga and music I'm behind on. I feel so out of the loop and I don't like it!

Well...that's all. I'm going back to playing WoW now.
