Very Surprising News
I have some very recent news I feel like I need to share with people. @_@
My birthday was this last Thursday and each year my family takes me out to dinner as part of celebrating it. This year only my parents took me, because my brother and his girlfriend went on a spur of the moment vacation to Las Vegas with her parents.
Tonight when my parents and I came home from dinner there was a message on the answering machine from my brother springing random news on us that he and his girlfriend got married on their trip! =O I was in complete shock. I still feel kind of numb about this whole situation, cause I want to be happy for them, but I haven't quite reached that point yet and I'm not sure when I will. I even feel sorry for my mom, she is so upset. My dad isn't happy either, but my mom is the only one crying openly about it.
My brother is married!! Who is 4 years younger than me! My brain is on stuck or something...
A happier note for me, I got a brand new digital camera in shiny dark red for my birthday! Unfortunately it needs a memory card...*sigh* don't really have money for that right now. I also received a very cool Doctor Who book, and a gift certificate to Amazon.com so now I get to decide what to spend that on. ^_^
