Fanfic: ZoroxLuffy
This is the first 'challenge'. Writing in english wasn't as easy as I had tought so it took a little more time than I tought. But here it is! I hope you like it. ^^ Oh and it's like first fanfic I've ever wrote, so please don't be too harsh ^^;;
STARTO!
It was like any other day at Going Merry. Luffy was causing mayhem and
complaining how hungry he was. Zoro was there, sleeping peacefully, not even bothering to pay attention to anyone, Sanji was cooing to Nami how wonderful the navigator looked today, and between praises to Nami, he shouted at Zoro for not paying attention to their 'Lovely Nami-san', as Sanji put it. Usopp was behind the three afore mentioned boys telling to Chopper of how he had defeat an entire army on his own. Chopper, of course, was 'Oooh!'ing and 'Aaah!'ing the whole time, looking at Usopp with large and sparkling eyes.
Nami on the other hand was standing in front of the kid- I mean mens,
yeah mens...... *clears throat* She started to doub her great plan to
teach her crew a few things about life. Like school, but in Straw hat's style.
They had turned the stock place in to class room with two long bech and two long tables. That had been over half an hour ago, and now Nami was slowly losing it, in the middle of shouts and laughing. She had tried to get their attention many times, but nothing helped.
Luffy had been really excited of the idea and had wanted to sit in the front frow. Zoro wanted to skip the whole thing, but Luffy had insisted that Zoro would have to stay with him. So now they were sitting beside each other on the first long bech.
Sanji sat on the other side of Zoro, wanting to sit in the front, so he would be closer to Nami.
Usopp and Chopper had wanted some peace - knowing that if they sat beside Luffy that would be impossible - they had choosed to sit behind the others.
Robin already knew lots of things, and was highly more intelligent than the man part of the crew.So she had decided to sit on one of the moved boxes reading a book and following the events, an amuset smile on her lips.
"Would you just please shut up?!", Nami shouted on top of her lungs. That outburst silenced the crew, but on for a while. Sanji's eyes sparkled as he said something that sounded like 'Nami-san's so beautiful when she's angry!'.
Meanwhile, Luffy had noticed that Zoro slept and started to poke his arm. But there was no responce. Luffy pouted slightly and poked again, this time harder. Nothing. Luffy's pout deepened as he climbed to Zoro's lap and started to poke the sworman's cheek. "Zoroooooo~", he whined, trying to wake the other.
Nami started to rub her temples, trying to prevent the on coming head ache. If she could just timewarp[A/N Not sure if I understood this word in right way...] back to the time before she had told to the others about her idea...
Chopper's cute, and high voice could be heard from the background. "Wow! What happened then?!", he asked, the excitement clear in his voice.
"Then I won the whole singing contest! Of course! I'm not the great captain Usopp for nothing!", Usopp said, looking quite pleased with himself.
"Would you please sing that song for me! I would love to hear it!", Chopper said, nearly squealing in very fangirlish way.
Usopp swallowed nervously. "Y-yeah....of course...I'll sing it.", he said sounding nervous. In truth he hadn't never been in singing contest, and he didn't even know if he could sing at all. He couldn't even remember any songs right now! Then finally he decided to sing the song he had heard somewhere.
"G...R...double E...N...Leaves...", the liar started in pretty quiet voice, that was barely audible.
On the meantime, Luffy still hadn't given up at trying to woke up Zoro."Zoro, you lazybum! Open your eeeeeeyeees!", Luffy said in sing a song voice, shaking the swordman pretty harsly from the shoulders. When Luffy still got no response, he couldn't believe how Zoro could still be sleeping and he got suspicious that Zoro was fooling him, so he leaned forwards trying to see any signs that Zoro was awake.
On that moment Usopp got in the first 'yatta' part. A loud cry "YATTA!!", could be heard, and that got even Zoro out of his sleep, who moved forwards in surprise.
Luffy didn't have time to react and move from the way, so their lips locked. The whole crew got silent. The rubber man froze and just stared in the swordman's now opened eyes.
Zoro was froze in shock too as he stared in Luffy's eyes, not noticing the soft red color forming to their captain's face.
Finally after a long and painfully quiet moment Luffy pulled away softly blinking and only blushing harder.
Nami coughed breaking the heavy silence, and at that moment the hell broke loose. Zoro stood up, gently placing Luffy to stand on his own legs. Then he turned to Usopp and Chopper, who both panicked and jumped up.
"L-Look, Zoro, it was just an accident...r-right? He he he...", Usopp said laughing nervously and taking few steps back.
Zoro took hold of one of his swords and slowly pulled it out and placed it in front of him. "DEEEEEEEAAAAATH!", he suddenly shouted and bolted forwards.
"GAH!!!", Usopp cried and run out to the deck as fast as he could.
Nami was first to react to the sudden events. "ZORO!! Leave Usopp alone! NOW!!", she shouted and took few steps towards the door that was hanging open, but she was stopped by Luffy's raised hand.
"I'll take care of it.", he said calmly and then run after the two.
"Zoro, you baka! Stop right now!", he shouted when he got to the deck, and barely dodged Usopp, who ran almost over him. Zoro came not far behind flinging with his sword.
"Stop you loud mouth idiot!", the swordman shouted after the running liar.
Luffy bolted after Zoro, trying to catch the other. That was the picture the rest of the crew saw when they came up to the deck; Usopp running and crying apologies, Zoro right behind him redying his sword to slice, and Luffy behind Zoro shouting for the other to stop.
"Sometimes....I wonder how I ever agreed to travel with these nutcases...", Nami said and walked to her "garden" rubbing her temples again.
Sanji followed her praising her from earth to heavens, and promising to make her a cool drink which would help her head ache a little.
Chopper's eyes were widened and he looked shocked. "P-please stop, before someone hurts himself!", the little doctor said not liking at all when they were running around like that.
Just then Luffy was too busy to notice the rope on the ground and tripped to it. With a loud yell he fell to the ground facedown.
Chopper cried out, placing his little hoofs to his mouth.
When Zoro heard Luffy yelling, he looked behind him, only to notice that his captain was lying on the ground. "Luffy!", he shouted and stopped running after Usopp, who climbed to the crow's nest, hiding there.
"Zoooroo~", Luffy whined, and got in to sitting position, tears in his
yes, but not letting them fall. He wasn't going to look weak in front of his crew.
Zoro walked to Luffy and kneeled beside him. "What happened? Did you hurt yourself?", he asked, noticing that Luffy was holding his knee. Gently he took Luffy's hands from the way and examined the wound. Luckily it was just a little scratch. But it bled slightly.
"Baka Zoro. It huuuuurts~", Luffy said in whining tone, pouting for like hundreth time for that day.
"Don't be a baby, it's nothing. Chopper will put a bandage on it. Nothing serious.", Zoro said sounding slightly relieved.
"Oi! Chopper! Come here!", Zoro shouted to the little reindeer, picking Luffy up again and placing him to his lap, and wrapped his hands around Luffy's waist, so the rubberman wouldn't escape anywhere.
Chopper run to them and started to clean the cut.
Luffy was unusually quiet, but then a silent mumble could be heard from under the strawhat.
"If you weren't my friend, I would steal your shoes..."
Zoro just rolled his eyes. What kind of thread was that?
