Aloha! It's about time I greeted with my homestates' language. ^_^... Although, I bet hardly anyone reads this anyways...
I'm here to go about my review of one of the newest iPhone's that was just released. iPhone 5c.
iPhone 5c is just like the iPhone 5, except for a few differences.
One of the most notable differences is... COLOR! Yes, the iPhone 5c, in which the 'c' stands for 'color', comes in a few different colors. They come in white, pink, yellow, green, and blue. The one I chose is the 'pink' one, obviously. Of course, I chose the 16gb, which was I had when I still had my iPhone 4 (black). Also, with the iPhone 5c, you do not get a choice of a black or white (front). They are all black, just the back is different colors. The back is very unique and is different from the usual iPhones. The back is made out of hard plastic, and it feels just like if you already had a case on it. (However, if you are like me, you would probably still want to have a case to protect your plastic from getting scratched.)
What you see in the picture is the box the phone comes in, as well as the phone itself. The phone, like all others, still comes with a usb cord, charger, and a set of earphones. The only difference is that the earphones actually come with a case, but they are still white. (Would have been cooler if they had made the earphones the same color as the phone backing.)
So, of course, with this new iPhone 5c, comes with the newest iOS system, 7.0. At first, I was really skeptical about the iOS 7. In fact, I didn't want it at all! But that was because I was still under my iPhone 4, and with the iPhone 4, the iOS 7 is just plain ridiculous! You don't even get half of the features that are presented in the iOS 7. (Like the moving background! OMG, you have no idea how long I've been just moving iPhone 5c, back and forth just to see my picture move!)
As you can see in this picture, this is my lock and home screen. Sorry that I can't show you the area where there is the keypad to enter your password. It's the way I make my iphone settings. Anyways... this is the view from the iOS 7. If I made this into a video, I can try to show you the movement of the image on the lock and home screen. But I don't have that kind of um... I'm just not good at doing that. My folders in the home screen, were just like my old phone. My icons are all grouped into different folders. (and yes, my images are from Free!) You can see the differences in the appearance, as opposed to the iOS 6.
Here is another picture of the home screen. The top left picture show the little screen that pops up when you slide your screen upwards. You get access to the control screen. You can turn off wi-fi, bluetooth, put on your do not disturb, flashlight, camera, calculator, music... it's like 'your everything you need' screen.
The middle image is the screen from when you slide downwards. Just like you did for the OS 6, the OS 7 is slightly different. It shows you are calender, weather, any reminders, there are three areas. Today, All, and Missed. I haven't used the missed yet, so I'm not sure what goes in there. All your notifications go into the 'all' column.
The top right image show you the finder/search screen. This appears when you just drag you home screen down, just a little. Not from the top, but from anywhere on the screen itself. I've never really used this before, so I probably would still not use it.
In the last image on the bottom, I had entered into Safari. This is how the safari looks like from the iOS 7 Point of View. I typed in my Free! LiveJournal Community. The keyboard isn't much different from the other OS.
Alright. Here is the Safari screen after I entered my url address. It is undoubtedly, very much faster than the iPhone 4. Seriously, I mean it. My iPhone 4 was super laggy! In the second image, I showed you the two different urls, like in the old OS, you would have to slide to get to the other page. This one, it's more like in a column, and you can pick and choose, and close out whichever one you want. Kind of more convenient.
BTW... join the Free! Livejournal Community Here -->
free_iwatobi Here is the last image for you guys. This is the new iTunes screen. The first thing that pops up is the iTunes Radio. I will most likely never use it. The second image is my playlist screen. There isn't much difference, just the color, look, and feel of the app.
All in all, I think my iPhone 5c is a pretty neat phone. I definitely have different views than other iPhone users probably, and I most definitely have different views from those who use androids. Each person as their own individual opinions and I respect their own opinions. I'm just showing you what I think, and what I have. It's definitely 2x step up from my previous iPhone 4. Much faster, more reliable, and definitely not laggy!
This has been a xKiYoMiNaTiONx Review. I have never done reviews before, so this is the first one! I'll probably take a picture of me and my iPhone 5c when I put on my cosplay or something lol...
Oh yeah! I forgot to show you the camera! XD... The camera is definitely amazing!!! ^_^
I rate the iPhone 5c 16GB (PINK) for Verizon.... 4/5 Stars! Why 4? Well... nothing is ever really...perfect =)
