I hope everyone had a good 4th of July. I'm sure everyone had a better day that I did. What used to be one of my favorite holidays was reduced to just another day. A painful one at that. I just had a surgery done. Don't worry nothing too serious. But I have stitches in and they're really painful. I'm on viodin right now, but I can't take viodin when I have to go to work cuz I can't drive on it. Well, monday I was in so much pain that I called in sick. Yesterday I went to work, cuz I wasn't about to leave them short handed on 4th of July. But the pain grew so immense that I couldn't ignore it anymore and asked to be sent home, which they did. I just called in again today because I'm in a lot of pain already, even though I woke up a bit ago, and I'll just have to be sent home early again cuz I know sitting in the car for 45 mins will make the pain even worse.
On the bright side, things with Steve are going really great. I think I'm still in a stage of puppy love but I think it's more than that. He compliments me in a lot of ways, and I compliment him. Sure we have our differences. We have some similarities in tastes in music. Meaning we both love musicals and classical music. Other than that, we have completely different tastes. I think it would be hard to find a guy who likes the same type of music that I do. But slowly and surely, he's introducing me to new stuff. It's not that I don't like his music, just that I haven't really listened to it. His parents love me. I love his parents too. His dad is awesome. A week ago, I went to steve's house on my day off, and Steve's dad took us out to dinner. They wanted me to pick, and Steve jokingly suggested Hooters. I said ok, to their surprise and we went. I shared a pitcher of beer with steve's dad. We had a lot of fun that night. I'm slowly breaking him out of a shell that he has with relationships. He said he doesn't like PDA, but he'll hold my hand, and give me quick kisses and everything. He'll stand behind me in a line and wrap his arms around my shoulders. I love it when he does that. It's a great feeling of security.
The job at disney is going pretty well. I'm excited though cuz I have auditions on the 21st for the Holiday shows. If I don't get anything from there, and I don't get anything by the time I'm allowed to transfer, I'm gonna become a character.
