Adventures In Radford

Man, I took a nap, which was like, such a bad idea, cause now I'm not going to be able to sleep. So, I will amuse myself by posting pics from Radford.

First, I wanna give props to the Radford crew. The school really had their stuff together, were amazingly well organized, and were really nice and really friendly. Gotta talk about Scott for a second, cause he will come up again. Scott was a Radford student who was kind of in charge of things, and he was really awesome, really cool guy. Though he admitted he didn't really care about seeing Cook in concert. This would change. What can I say? Our boy just has that effect on people. Anyway, we have Scott and a girl named Lauren to thank for getting us pit passes to the show. The pit was a, well, pit area in front of the stage, where I guess the orchestra played for shows involving that sort of thing. It was very long, and very wide. If you stood right in front of the stage, the stage was taller than us, but it was wide, so we could back up and had a great view. The pit rocked. That is all.

Ryan was up first. Ren and Serena were pretty close to the stage, but I hung towards the back and off to the side to get some good pics.

At one point in the show Ryan pointed at me, and I was so surprised. I guess he remembered me after our faux kissing adventure. Nice to know he doesn't faux kiss just any old fangirl. ;-P (I'm kidding, I'm kidding!)

Um...yeah....I dunno...

Um, I love it when this boy smiles.

There was Skibmann, and honestly, I don'[t even remember taking this pic. This is also for dreamerren

Kinda fuzzy, but I love this pic anyway.

Okay, so I forgot to write this in my Bucknell recap, but in Bucknell, during Hot For Teacher, at the part where David usually spits water on Kyle, David turned to us in the audience with his cheeks all puffed out full of water and all three of us were thinking "OMFG, he's going to spit water at us!", but he's such a fucking tease, cause then he totally opened his mouth, and nothing. Ah, haha. There was no spitting in Bucknell. So, for Radford, as kinda a joke (maybe sorta) we made a sign that said "Spit in the Pit" since there really weren't that many people in the pit, and we were all a-okay with the idea. Not that we actually thought he would do it, but it was funny, cause he totally played us the night before. To this day I can't decide whether he was just teasing us, or whether he seriously considered it and then changed his mind and swallowed the water. Anyway, David did not spit in the pit. But he did dump a bottle of water over his head and then leaned down and shook his head, thereby spraying us with water. Spit in the pit sign proved unnecessary in then end, but is still fondly remembered.

Okay, this pic is not that attractive (sorry Dave!) but in real life it was pretty fucking hot.

So...after the show I sent a tweet about David's flashdance, and while I was sending said tweet, I walked into a pole. Yep, straight on, right into a pole. Could've been something right out of a movie. So, for all of you who read that tweet (I saw it made the DCO thread, lol)...anyway, I'd like to defend myself by saying I had been up for two days straight at this point, since I didn't sleep between Bucknell and Radford.

We did go to the buses after the show, and when we saw Dave, we were like "What was up with the show tonight?!?!" and he was like "What, was it bad??" and we were like "Um, no! Definitely no! It was amazing!" I got him to sign my concert ticket, and then got a pic with Joey to round out my set so I have a pic with everyone. All in all a great weekend!

Oh, right! We talked to Scott after the show, and he said he only got to see about 4 or 5 songs, but he really liked what he heard. Later someone found a tweet from him where he said he was now a fan.

animal, why haven't i noticed andy skib before?, david cook rocks my socks, the other doctor
