Quistis gets over her disbelief pretty quickly. She's almost ecstatic. ]

Quistis! [ Short pause, as she takes in her surroundings a bit. ] Um...where is here, exactly?

... Say, do you have any warmer clothes with you? [ She looks concerned. This is gonna get ugly real fast if Rinoa has to travel in that. ]

No, this was the only change of clothes in the bag. [ And her usual outfit isn't any good for winter weather, either. ] But...I was thinking that I could probably use these towels as a make-shift jacket?

[ She looks rueful, but then nods, smiling again. Leave it to Rinoa. ] That might work. Do what you can, anyway, because... well, you're going to have to travel in this cold. [ Quistis is sympathetic. She had to trek through this shit, too, and it wasn't pretty, even in more suitable clothing than what Rinoa's wearing. ]
There's no place to stay in the town you're in, and the next town is three days out. I can come back to meet you with supplies and warmer clothes, but it's best if you get started in my direction. I'm... more than a few days away.

She then goes off-screen for a short bit, during which rustling and murmurs can be heard, and then she pops back on with a hideous make-shift towel jacket, folded over and held together by the clothespins. ] See? This could work...
Sooo...I just follow the path out of town, right? [ She perks up at the idea of meeting up with Quistis. ] And we'll meet up in time?

Yeah. [ She smiles reassuringly. ] Try to stay out of the long grass - the snow is higher there - but if you run into any trouble, your Pokémon should protect you.
Actually... [ She brightens a little. ] I have a Flying-type who can make it there before you get to the next town. He's not very friendly, but he'll keep you safe if you need it, and he can bring you a blanket and some warmer clothes.
You'll get to Cherrygrove before I do, so when you do, just grab a room at the inn and get warm, okay?

I've made arrangements to travel with someone else who's headed back that way to pick up a friend. If you run across a young blonde girl named Elizabeth Middleford, keep an eye on her, would you? From the sounds of things, you can take better care of her than she can of herself. [ It'll likely help Rinoa stay focused, too; having someone else to look after should keep her from getting too disheartened, Quistis thinks. ]
We might end up with a full party, traveling back. I offered to pick up anyone who needed help, since it can get pretty rough out there.
