it's an awkward experience when someone exposes you. you know that person's been able to pinpoint exactly what it is you're thinking or feeling when you've found yourself out of excuses or explanations. you have no choice but to admit that that's the truth and there's no denying it. the worst is when it's a truth that you've been running from for as long you can remember, only to have someone drag you back to face it. or what about the scenario in which you try so hard to cover up whatever it is that is eating away at you, only to realize that the facade is a bunch of bullshit that seems to be more of a screen door than a glass window. maybe the truth is just so blatantly written all over your face, expressed in the way you talk and act, in the way you lie.
