Angelica was almost ready to leave, and couldn't help feeling grown up as she set off for Diagon Alley by herself. She'd never gone without one of her parents. This was like a new adventure! Plus, she couldn't wait to have ice cream.
After telling her mum where she was off to, she took a pinch of Floo powder and shouted, "Diagon Alley!" once she stepped into the hot, green flames. Stepping out of a fireplace, she walked out of the book store she landed in and headed over to Florean Fortesque's ice cream shop only a few stores away. Spotting Matty's blond head out of the crowd, she shouted, "Matty!" and ran to catch up with him.
