My first BJD...and the Dilemma of Decisions...
So. I've decided to sell a bunch of dolls/doll clothes/stock stuff/necklaces so that I can buy my first BJD. I'll post stuff soon.
I am really struggling to decide between Elfdolls Soah and Sooah. So far I am leaning towards Soah - because she looks so much like my Mum did when she was young, that I am just naturally drawn to her.
I do like the fuller, poutier lips and eyes of Sooah though.
I was thinking of getting Shall from Dream of Doll...but she is sold out now, and is more $$$ anyway - so I will save her for another time (maybe). Plus, a friend of mine has Shall, so I can live vicariously through her. ^_~

I know in the end it is *my* decision...but I'm still intereted in hearing what others have to say. Advice, opinions, etc... I have never ever seen a BJD in real life before...and the whole process of ordering, etc...makes me nervous. It's all so *involved*
For example:
Large Bust, or small bust?
Face up or not?
If I do choose face-up, I want something soft and natural for either Soah or Sooah. I'd love something really unique...but I'm not that creative to think of anything...so if anyone wants to share ideas - feel free.
I have no idea how to describe a face-up when I order anyway.
Should I order from Elfdoll or Luts? I've been told to order from Korea instead of the US because customs is usually less. Both Elfdoll and Luts are in Korea. People have recommended US sites to me of course...
I have joined DOA, and the Soah yahoo groups - but they haven't helped me out too much with my decision - there don't seem to be many of these girls out there.
